MAKE TONIGHT CHEESIER WITH JUST 4 INGREDIENTS!
When I made these instead of the frozen ones, my family couldn’t possibly have eaten them faster. I was lucky to even get one of them. Be ready for them to disappear fast.
If you have kids, you can let them help wrap up the string cheese in the wonton wrappers. Don’t be expecting theirs to come out pretty though. Just sayin’. Not that looks matter with these unless guests are coming. Of utmost importance with kids assisting you in the kitchen is clean hands. Wonton wrappers can usually be found in your supermarket in the refrigerated section over by produce. Just ask if you don’t see them.
Word to the wise: make sure your cheese is very cold. If it’s warmed up a lot before you fry it, it could melt faster than the wonton wrapper turns golden and that will lead to an ooey gooey mess in your fryer or electric skillet. Make sure you have marinara sauce on hand for dunking. Mmmm!
