ONLY 30 MINUTES TO MAKE THIS SWEET DESSERT!
Get two bowls going here. One will hold your whipped cream while the other will be used to combine the cream cheese and mascarpone. When it comes to adding the white chocolate, you need to have already melted it AND cooled it. I almost overlooked this. Almost! Now here’s where this differs from tiramisu as you know it…instead of brushing the lady fingers with coffee, you’ll be brushing them with orange juice.
Then the rest of it is all about your stacking skills. You’ll layer it all together, and over the last layer of the sweet creamy filling, you’ll dress those remaining strawberries. You can opt to add a drizzle of chocolate syrup if you wish, and I recommend you do because you only live once or #YOLO as the kids these days say. Honestly, I think if you used coffee to brush your lady fingers instead of the orange juice, this recipe would still be great and closer to the original version, though there is something to be said about this new fruity tiramisu cousin, that’s for sure. Mmmm!
