PUDDING ON THE RITZ!
With just a few ingredients you’ve got tucked away in your cabinets, you can make this delicious vanilla rice pudding. And in such a short time too. You have 2 options here – you can serve it warm which I absolutely recommend, or you can serve it chilled. It’s all a matter of preference here, but as a former rice pudding hater, I personally prefer it warmed. You’ll start by whisking the egg in your large saucepan. Then slowly add the milk, making sure to blend it well. In goes the dry pudding mix. Keep stirring until it’s well-blended.
Rice and raisins come in next and that’s when you kick this party up to a full-on boil. Don’t. Stop. Stirring. Let it cool for 5 minutes after that, stopping by to stir it occasionally. You can then pour this into 10 dessert dishes or use one big serving bowl, whatever you prefer. Top it with cinnamon and nutmeg for the finish.
