AN EXERCISE IN DECADENCE!
It’s easier to make this rich and indulgent dessert than it looks. For starters, you’ll get things going in the microwave, melting the chocolate and butter together. Then you’ll add the eggs, one at a time, followed by the sugar, flour, vanilla, and salt. You’ll bake up those 3 brownie cakes and while you do, you can get a head start on the frosting. The frosting will need to be refrigerated for 2 or 3 hours until it has the same look and feel of pudding. You’ll want to stop by your fridge and check on it. Say hi, give it a stir or two and then go about your business.
Once the frosting has reached the right consistency and your brownie cakes are cool enough, use your mixer to beat the frosting until it forms those soft peaks. You can take it from there with the frosting, covering in between the layers, on top and on the sides. Don’t forget to add the shaved chocolate to the top for the perfect finishing touch!
