TURN THE BEST TYPE OF COOKIE INTO THE BEST TYPE OF PIE!
Of all the cookies in the whole world, chocolate chip cookies have to be the best ones around. Don’t give me that look, peanut butter cookie lovers. Those are good too, but nothing comes close to a fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie. That warm gooey center that melts in your mouth…oh, it’s just heaven! I always loved the Nestle Tollhouse brand of dough before I got hip to making my own. And even when I started baking my own cookies, I relied on getting my dough just right by following the directions on the bag of chocolate chips. It has never failed to give me the perfect batch of cookies.
This recipe incorporates all of what we love about chocolate chip cookies, particularly the soft and dense style of the Tollhouse variety, into a pie form. And boy is it awesome. Because it is a deep dish chocolate chip cookie pie. DEEP. DISH. That means more dense and delicious chocolate chip cookie pie goodness per slice. Oh yeah! And it’s as easy as…what? No, I was NOT going to say pie. I was going to say it’s as easy as making a batch of chocolate chip cookies. Duh. Let’s go to the next page (click the Next button below) to find out how to make this Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Pie.
