A base of cake mix really makes this super simple. Take the cake mix and then mix it with one of the eggs and one stick of melted butter. Then pat that into your prepared pan. Then you’ll work on making the cream cheese smooth. Once you do, add those other 2 eggs, and then the cocoa powder. Now is where it counts. Take it easy and slow down the mixer as you add the powdered sugar, followed by the remainder of the melted butter. And then finally, the vanilla.
You’ll pour this over what you’ve got in the pan and then send it into the oven. Keep an eye on this baby because you want that center to be a bit gooey when it’s done. If you’re using a 9 x 13 pan, the original poster warns that you need to check the cake at 30 minutes. Cool it for just a bit before you slice it up and live your cake dreams.
