NO MORE BAD WHITE CAKES!
Making this cake perfectly perfect is all in the pans. You need to either follow the original recipe to a T and make it in 9-inch pans for about 22 minutes or make it in 8-inch pans for 27 minutes. Overdoing it will result in that unhappy white cake that bad weddings are made of.
After your cakes cool, you can frost them. The beauty of this recipe is that it allows for you to choose your favorite frosting. Will it be a nice white buttercream? Or will you go with chocolate? Lemon buttercream? Cream cheese frosting? Oh doll, it’s your party. Cry if you want to, though I think I’d rather be over here enjoying this cake. Your call. What’s it going to be?
This white cake is a great way to impress someone for their birthday, or for holidays. Or just invite everyone over so you can make this perfect white cake. I may or may not have done that. At least it’s better than eating it alone. With a cake like this, you’ve just got to share the goodness.
I found this recipe on the I Am Baker blog where they have more info on how to make this as well as other resources to go to if you want to customize it. So click the link below to go visit the blog to get all this extra detail as well as the recipe for the perfect white cake, finally!
