Most of my life, I’ve steered clear of white cakes. It’s not like I have anything against them. It’s just that, well, compared with yellow or chocolate cakes, white cakes often have a drier taste and texture. I associate it with bad wedding cakes. And bad weddings. Run from that bouquet, girl.
