EVERYTHING’S BIGGER IN TEXAS!
In college, I had a friend named John who was from Texas. And he wanted EVERYONE to know it. Anything any of us ever said, well John would set us straight and tell us our version was puny. Because everything is bigger in Texas. One night at a party, my friend Jeff had become a bit annoyed with John’s constant boasts about Texas and he launched into a hilarious monologue, pretending he was John. “I think big and I walk big and I talk big and I eat big and I laugh big and I dance big…” and on and on he went until none of us could stop laughing. Oh college. Those were the days.
Anyway, now that we’re official grown-ups with jobs and such, and I’ve visited friends out in Texas (not John…he has since moved up to Colorado), I can tell you that despite all his bragging, John was right on the money. Everything is bigger in Texas. The plates of food are massive. I mean, wow. It’s a foodie’s dream. Of course, Texans would be the ones to bring us Texas sheetcake so we should get right on thanking them. But the gal who made these Texas sheetcake cookies? Oh man. I want her to be my new best friend. Let’s go to the next page (click the Next button below) to discover how to make these Texas Sheetcake Cookies.
