A 5-INGREDIENT TREAT!
The thing about berries is that you can put them in pies and they’re incredible but they’re also perfect on their own. Or with just a little something creamy. Like this recipe. You’ll make the creamy part out of cream cheese and vanilla coffee creamer. Just beat it together. First, the cream cheese takes a beating. Then you’ll slowly add in the creamer. Even if you don’t have a mixer, you can do this by hand. It will just take a little bit longer.
The original poster cautions very strongly about pouring all of the creamer at once into the cream cheese. DO NOT do that! She says it will result in it becoming clumpy and it will never recover from that. So take heed. Slow and steady wins this race. When all is said and done, you’ll chill this until you’re ready to serve. I served this after a big lasagna and salad and it made the perfect ending to our very heavy meal. It was sweet enough yet light enough and it satisfied everyone’s desire for dessert perfectly.
I found this sublime recipe on the Slow Roasted Italian blog. Click the link below to see the blog and full recipe for this Summer Berry Cheesecake Salad.
