LET’S BREAK BREAD!
This recipe will make you 2 nice loaves of stuffed banana bread. And it’s easy enough to make it happen too. You’ll get the ingredients together, starting with the sugar and butter. Then you’ll add the eggs to that, making sure to mix it up really well. Next up, in another bowl, sour cream and baking soda go together. Then the sugar, followed by salt, bananas, flour and cinnamon. And finally, nuts. Then all the ingredients for the filling need to come together for their own little party in a small bowl.
You’ll pour ¼ of the batter into each of the loaf pans. Then you’ll add the filling on top of that. And then you’ll divide the remainder of the batter up between the 2 loaf pans. Don’t forget to sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture on top of each loaf. That gives it a little bit of a crisp at the top. You want that crisp. Let it cool a bit before serving warm. It’s also great to serve cold but as it contains cream cheese, be sure to store any leftovers in the fridge.
