8 SIMPLE AND PURE INGREDIENTS!
Honestly, the less ingredients in a recipe, the better it seems to be. Or maybe it just impresses more because it tastes like there’s 1,000 of the best tasting things in it. Now that’s food for thought!
Anyway, this recipe calls for making your own graham cracker crust. I like that charm of making your own crust but hey, if you’re like me and you’re throwing this together because your friend is driving from 2 hours away just because she misses you, you will cut corners to have that pie ready to present when she gets there. I used a pre-made graham cracker crust which for me, was easiest since I had one in my pantry that needed to be used. If you use a pre-made graham cracker crust, you’ll be able to get this ready even faster because you can just start with making the filling. And you won’t have to wait for the pie crust to cool. It will officially be a no-bake if you do it this way. Huzzah!
Now, you don’t have to make the chocolate drizzle for the top. It’s optional. But to that I say why in the world would you pass up the chance to have chocolate AND to add an extra bit of panache to your pie? It adds some contrast and makes it look like something from a magazine about the world’s most fabulous pies. So, who will you impress with this pie?
