ALL THE BEST OF THE SOUTH AT ONCE!
Down in the south, pies are big business. Not only do people eat a lot of pie, but they all like to bake them too. Two of the most popular ones are peach pie and pecan pie. Both downright delicious in their own right. So when I saw this recipe for sour cream peach pecan pie, I thought perhaps this was the peacekeeper that resolved the war of which is better – pecan pie or peach pie?
Because you know if you go into a room full of people and ask that question, half of them are going to declare their love for peach pie, while the other half will tell you that’s nuts, pardon the pun, and that pecan pie is the best. And you’ll always get someone who’s not really paying attention who will blurt out “apple!” or something unrelated. And the whole room will turn and stare for a moment, then return back to arguing.
