SO WORTH IT!
Don’t let the ingredient list send you running. True that I love a simple recipe with a few ingredients, this one is painless I promise. I think I like recipes with only a few ingredients so I don’t have to worry about forgetting something. But when I have a recipe with a lot of stuff to work with, I just organize it all first before I begin so I’ve got it when I need it. I hope that helps you too! Some things that will make your life easier when making these:
Line the pan with foil and then grease it for easy brownie removal. You want them to be pretty right?
Also, when making the batter, don’t over-mix the flour. Stir it in until you can’t see it anymore and that’s it otherwise you’ll give it a cake-like consistency instead of a brownie consistency. Use a butter knife to swirl your cheesecake mixture into the brownie batter. It will give it a lovely marbled look. And when it comes to that frosting, remove it from the heat as soon as it starts the beginning phase of boiling. Pour and spread over those brownies and let them refrigerate until they’re cool and everything has set. Oh yes. Fall for these. Fall hard. Just don’t fall off the treadmill please.
I found this incredible recipe on the Confessions of a Cook Book Queen blog. Click the link below to see the blog and full recipe for these Snickers Cheesecake Fudge Brownies.
