NUTTIN’ DOING!
With just 5 ingredients you likely have already in your pantry, you can pull these together. It’s great to make in a pinch for after-school snacks as long as no one has any nut allergies.
First things first…line your baking pan with parchment paper. Then add half of your nuts in a single layer on there. The nuts provide the outer layer and the grip for your fingers. Without them, you’d have a gooey peanut buttery mess on your hands, pun very much intended.
The mixture is easy enough to make on your stove top. Once it’s ready, pour it over the peanuts in the pan. Then add the rest of the peanuts to the top. Make sure to push them in a little (not too hard!) to make sure they attach. Fridge them up to set and then you can pull them out of the pan, cut them and of course, share them.
I found this peanut-laden recipe on the Chocolate, Chocolate and More blog. Click the link below to see the blog and full recipe for these Salted Nut Candy Bars.
