IT’S TIME TO GET SAUCY!
I know I often seem very complex but the truth is, sometimes I’m as simple as it gets. You can never fail to make me happy by giving me an ice cream sundae topped with hot fudge AND caramel sauce. Go ahead. Try it. I’ll stand over here feeling sad and you can give me a sundae and I’ll scream with delight. No, really, I totally will. Unless I have the stomach flu again. Oh God. What a horrible mess that was. My husband knew I was really sick when I didn’t even want to go near any food, particularly sweets. I was revolted by everything. It spooked him, honestly. He’s never seen me unwilling to even take a taste of something sweet.
Now I’m better and boy is it good to be back. And since I’m still moving around a bit gingerly, I’m taking it slow and easy with this very simple but no-less impressive Salted Caramel Sauce.
