AS EASY AS MAKING A ROOT BEER FLOAT!
Making a root beer float is a total snap. It’s ice cream with root beer poured on top. While this pie doesn’t involve ice cream, it is so easy to make and heavenly that I will now be making this a lot more often. Plus, the recipe calls for reduced fat frozen whipped topping and diet root beer. Which means you can eat more of it without worrying about calories. Win-win! Of course, you can use the regular stuff too. Nothing bad will happen if you do, you know.
Just mix everything together and pour it into a prepared graham cracker crust. Or make your own crust. You can overcomplicate things if you wish. Or show off. No judgment. You’ll use the remaining whipped topping to make a top layer on the pie. Then you’ll have to be really patient waiting for it to set. It will need about 8 hours, so the best thing you can do is throw this together before you go to bed. Then when you get up in the morning, ta da! Pie is ready! Sweet!
