A CLASSIC PIE FROM A CLASSIC TIME!
I think I’ve prattled on before about how I love old recipes. The kind that were from simpler times. Because those have truly stood the test of time. Who needs overprocessed when you can have simple flavors that shine all on their own? When I found this recipe, I was intrigued because the original poster said it came from the 1960s. That’s even older than me. So a pie that’s been around THAT long, well, I’ve just got to give it a try.
Sure there are tons of peanut butter pies out there but with all the pies I’ve ever seen or eaten, I’ve never seen one with meringue on it. That’s interesting! So I had to give it a try. And what I discovered is this – this pie is all sorts of amazing. A bit time consuming because it’s a pie from the 1960s which means there were no shortcuts when it was written, but well worth it. Let’s go to the next page (click the Next button below) to find out how to make this Peanut Butter Meringue Pie.
