A PRETTY TWIST ON A COOKIE CLASSIC!
Have you ever had anyone bake you a tray of cookies before? Even if it was pre-made store-bought dough, it’s still a sweet gesture. Aside from my mom and my grandma, no one has ever baked a tray of cookies especially for me. Once, several years before I met my husband, I made a boy I was dating chocolate chip cookies. For Valentine’s Day. And I drove them over to his office. I really liked him. But he, as I’d later find out, was involved with someone else. Who wasn’t happy that I brought him cookies. Now I was out a boyfriend, and even worse, a batch of yummy cookies. Sigh.
But at least they weren’t THESE cookies. Oh no. Now, these red velvet peanut butter blossoms would have definitely been upsetting to part with. I don’t even think I could make them and give them to anyone else without making an extra batch for myself. Oh so good! They’re pretty, they’re red, they have peanut butter AND chocolate! What more could you ask of a cookie? Let’s go to the next page (click the Next button below) to find out how to make Red Velvet Peanut Butter Blossoms.
