IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE!
It’s my birthday! Ok, not today specifically, but it is in this month. And I’ve decided since it’s a pretty loaded number that I am totally celebrating this entire month. And maybe for the next 2 months too. Why not? Anyway, one of my dear childhood friends drove up for a visit last week and we all went out to dinner. We were amazed our children sat in their seats and ate their food like normal human beings. We toasted to that and to many more things. Afterward, our kids were running around in some grass outside the restaurant and we thought it might be better if we went into the Barnes and Noble for a coffee and to let them play in the play area.
But my friend would not hear of me buying any coffee or dessert for my family. She insisted she wanted to treat for my birthday and she told me to go pick out a slice of cake. They had cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. And instantly, I was smitten by the red velvet cheesecake slice. She bought it and asked for forks for all of us and then her little family and my husband and children sang a whispery version of “Happy Birthday” to me in the children’s section. I couldn’t have asked for anything sweeter, until I found this recipe that is! Let’s go to the next page (click the Next button below) to discover how to make this Red Velvet Cheesecake Cake.
