SIMPLY IMPRESSIVE!
Ah, the traditional red velvet cake. So refined and full of southern charm. This one is a bit more of a pound cake style, but that doesn’t mean it’s any less delicious. It’s very simple too, while looking the part of a true southern belle. Classy as can be and ready to charm you. It wouldn’t be a normal week if I wasn’t baking a cake in this house. We had my youngest child’s birthday and cupcakes and cake for that occasion. Then we had some friends come over for a special dinner and I made another cake and now this one. I made it to take along to a friend’s home for dinner. She’s especially fond of red velvet so when she and her husband invited us for dinner, I knew I had to make this recipe.
Not only is it easy and tasty, but it’s also a great cake for beginners because of how you frost it. With other cakes, you need to be immaculate with that frosting which is usually the hardest thing to get right but on a bundt-style cake, you can drizzle and leave it messy and it’s all good. Let’s go to the next page (click the Next button below) to discover how to make this Red Velvet Bundt Cake.
