PURE HEAVENLY BLISS!
This pie tastes so good that even if you did try to tell people how easy it is, they’re not going to believe you. So just eat it up – both the pie and the compliments you’ll receive. Save time by buying a ready-made Oreo crust. Since I do so much cooking and baking, I usually have one of these around. BOGO sales are a godsend sometimes. I didn’t need to make my crust, but you easily can. The original poster tells you how to do it. It’s just about as easy as buying a ready-made one. Next, you’ll mix up the Dulce de Leche, which you can find in the ethnic foods section of your supermarket (usually with all the Spanish ingredients) and 16 ounces of Cool Whip. Pour it into the crust and then you’ll top with 8 ounces of Cool Whip. That’s IT. Seriously.
To make it look as impressive as it tastes, you simply top it off with crushed bits of candy bar. The original poster said she used Twix. I had some mini Twix around as well as some Caramellos. You could use whatever candy bar you like, honestly. I also drizzled a little of the Dulce de Leche on top. The end result was this gorgeous pie that I’d barely done anything to create. It’s such a winner on so many levels. Pop it into the fridge until it’s time to serve. Try to let it set for at least an hour. Make this one ASAP!
