POUR SOME SUGAR ON ME!
These sweet babies can be all yours in no time! Get your baking sheets ready and then fill that mixer with butter and brown sugar. Cream them up until they get nice and fluffy. Next, it’s time for the egg and vanilla, followed by baking soda and salt. And then, it’s flour time. Stir it in until it’s just combined. And then the fun begins! Plop big fat blobs of the dough onto your baking sheet and bake ‘em up. Golden edges mean you’ve got it just right.
As they cool, you’ll want to make that praline frosting. Mmmm. Super easy. Just add butter, cream, brown sugar and salt. Heat over medium until it boils and keep stirring. Once it reaches the boiling point, only allow it to boil for one full minute and then get it off the heat. You’ll then add vanilla and powdered sugar and stir it up until it’s smooth. You’ll add the pecans last, though if you want to keep this nut-free, you may leave them off. You’ll let this frosting sit for 5 minutes and then you’re good to go to spread that love all over your cookies.
