ALOHA!
If you’re looking for a tropical-tasting dessert that’s a snap to throw together, you’re in the right place. Pineapple and coconut go so well together. Additionally, this icing is wonderful and if you want to dress up a chocolate cake and take it to the next level by making it a German chocolate cake, you can use this frosting on it. For this cake, all you do is take the dry ingredients and mix them up in a bowl. Then you add the wet ingredients, stir and pour into your baking pan. That’s it! It took me less than 5 minutes to get it in the oven. Epically easy!
Then just before the cake finishes, make your icing on the stove. Ideally, it should be done a few minutes after your cake is out of the oven. You want to pour that icing on top while the cake is still warm. Let it cool before serving. Enjoy your tropical taste bud vacation!
