IT’S JUST PEACHY!
This recipe calls for sliced peaches. You can use fresh ones and slice them yourself, or if those aren’t available, sliced canned peaches will still work wonderfully. You’ll mix your peach slices with sugar and corn starch. Make the batter in a medium bowl. You’ll sift the dry ingredients together. In another bowl, combine the milk and butter with a whisk. Then, you’ll slowly pour your wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until it’s well-combined.
When you pour your cake batter into your baking dish, you’ll add the sliced peaches into the batter. Make sure you place some on top too, to add a pop of pretty peach color on top. After baking, allow to cool. You can eat it warm or cooled. It goes great with a glass of milk for breakfast. And as a snack or dessert, it’s even more awesome with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Mmmm!
