THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
When I saw the picture of this incredible dessert while sifting through Pinterest a few days ago. I honestly hadn’t even read the name of the recipe, I was drawn in by the picture alone. There it was: A beautiful, majestic, and heavenly cake adorned with peanut butter cups on top. Then I read the ingredients and realized it was so much more than just a peanut butter cake. It was a Peanut Butter Brownie Cheesecake!
My tires must have squealed as I pulled out of the drive way on my way to the grocery.
There are a lot of elements to this dessert, for sure. It took me a couple of tries to line up the peanut butter cups just right on the bottom of the dessert in the brownies. (Okay, sure, the fact that I was eating a few of them along the way probably didn’t help, but still.) Layering the brownies, the peanut butter cups, and the cheesecake was much easier than I had anticipated. Decorating it was the real treat, though. This dessert is a visual masterpiece, and every bit as delicious as it looks.
