DARE TO BE DIFFERENT!
When you go to the supermarket with your kids, do you spend a thousand years in the cereal aisle arguing over what cereal to choose? One of my kids wants something overly sugary. The other one also wants something overly sugary, but a different flavor of sugary crud. Ugh. And me, I’m standing there trying to decide between rice cereal or flakes. This time, my decision was made easier with coupons. Between those and a BOGO offer, I wound up with 4 big boxes of flakes for $3. Not bad.
The kids weren’t happy at all about this and each morning at breakfast, they have made sure to remind me. Still, they eat it all so I thought maybe there was something I could use the flakes in besides poured into a bowl with milk. I got to thinking about those Ritter Sport candy bars from Germany. One of my favorites has flakes in it. And then, I found this incredibly fun recipe that incorporates flakes for a crunchy tasty treat. Let’s just say the children aren’t complaining about this. Not one bit. Let’s go to the next page (click the Next button below) to discover how to make these Peanut Butter Crunch Éclair Bars.
