GO ON, GET HAPPY!
These are so easy that they’ll make YOU happy because you won’t have to spend much time getting them together. In fact, it takes less than 15 minutes to get it together. The rest of the time involves baking and cooling. Your mixer will be your best friend with a recipe like this. Using it, you can probably have these in the oven in 10 minutes. If you’re going to be a hero and mix it up by hand, it will of course take you longer.
Mixing it up, keep in mind that you should add your eggs one at a time and beat them well before adding the next egg. A helpful hint here is to first crack each egg into a bowl so as to avoid getting shells into the mix. Crack the egg into a small bowl, then incorporate the egg. Then crack the next egg into the bowl, and continue in the same way until they’re done. Oh and I added more chocolate chips to mine because I had some leftover from another baking project. I used milk chocolate as the recipe suggested though you could use semi-sweet if you wanted to. I’m just more partial to milk chocolate myself. White chocolate chips would be kind of cool in this too.
I found this pleasing recipe on the Taste of Home website. Click the link below to see the site and full recipe for these Peanut Butter Cake Bars.
