MAKE EVERYTHING PEACHY KEEN!
A box mix makes this cake happen pretty quickly. Mostly when I use box mix, I don’t bother to sift it but I think doing so in this case really helps keep lumps away which will help when you add the pudding mix. You’ll need peach puree for this which you have to make yourself. It’s very easy! Just peel your peaches, slice them and put in your blender. Voila! Peach puree!
You’ll mix up the batter as instructed. No surprises there. Then when you’ve got everything nice and smooth, you’ll pour the batter into your cake pan, spreading out so it is even all the way. Take your peach slices and press them very gently on top of the batter. Try not to overlap them. Then bake! The glaze is just as easy to make. Once it’s done, you’ll pour it on your cooled cake and garnish with slices of fresh peaches…unless your family ate the rest of the peaches that is!
