SWEET HEAVENS!
For as time-consuming as cinnamon rolls can be, these honestly aren’t the most trying recipe I’ve ever seen. Still, expect to spend a bit of time getting the dough ready. You’ll need to first heat up the milk and then stir in the butter. That butter doesn’t need to melt completely though. You’ll pour this into a large bowl and add in sugar and yeast. Stir this and let it sit for a good 5 minutes. You’ll see the yeast start to bubble. If not, your yeast is no good. Next, you’ll add the egg and mix well, followed by 2 cups of flour. Once that’s combined, add the salt and then keep adding your flour in ½-cup increments until the dough forms well.
You’ll turn this out onto a well-floured surface and begin the kneading process. And if you need to, add more flour. You want to keep the dough from being sticky. Cover it and let the rising happen. Then punch it out, roll it out and get ready to roll it up. Once you have it in rolls with the peach filling inside, you’ll need to let it rise again. But after that, it’s ready for baking finally. When done, mix the glaze ingredients together and pour it on top while these are still warm. Best breakfast ever!
