TIME TO MAKE THIS RAINBOW SHINE!
Alright, so let’s get down to business. For the instructions on how to make this I recommend you watch the video at the bottom. The ingredients in the video however are using UK measuring standards, I’ve made the US standard version available below:
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
FOR THE CAKE
- 9 tbsp whole milk
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- various color pastes
- 3 cups + 2 tbsp softened unsalted butter
- 3 cups + 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 9 large eggs
- 3 cups + 2 tbsp regular flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- butter and flour to prep the cake pans
FOR THE FROSTING
- 1 2/3 cup soft unsalted butter
- 3 3/4 cup sifted icing sugar
- 5-6 tbsp whole milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
