SERIOUSLY OLD SCHOOL!
I enjoy things from bygone eras. Sometimes that concerns me because I wonder if it makes me old. But other times, I realize that we really need to stay true to the classics. A recipe like this one is a true relic, one that needs to be treasured forever. According to the original poster, this recipe has been written down since 1942. And that means it was in existence looooooooooong before that. I’ve mentioned SO many times on here how I love old timey old-fashioned things, particularly with recipes.
A recipe that has endured for such a long time can only mean one thing – that it is a classic and an absolute keeper. No one would work so hard to remember something that was horrible and continue to pass it down from generation to generation if they felt it wasn’t up to par. So if you like peanut butter cookies, get ready to bake up these. They are simple, sweet, peanut buttery and all-around wonderful. Let’s go to the next page (click the Next button below) to discover how to make these Old-Fashioned Peanut Butter Cookies.
