LESS THAN 10 INGREDIENTS!
So remarkably simple and delish, you’re going to love these! But first, let me warn you that this calls for those soft caramels. The kind you need to individually unwrap. I suggest that you have more than the recipe calls for. Because kids will want to help you unwrap them and they will eat them. And you will eat them too. And then you won’t have enough caramel to make these. Extras are a must!
Another thing to note is that you can use either evaporated milk OR heavy cream. The original poster says there is no difference at all in this recipe for whichever one you choose. I personally used evaporated milk since I had big plans for my heavy cream for something else. One thing with these is that you’ve got to exercise a bit of patience when they’re done. The caramel is like lava and you’ll need to let it cool. You can pop it in the fridge for a teensy bit to get it to set up faster but don’t forget about it. You want these to be served and stored at room temperature to get the maximum pleasure from them.
