CHOCO-PEANUT-BUTTER-TASTIC!
Now there are only 7 ingredients to these, which make them even easier. You’ll melt both butters (peanut butter and regular) together until they become smooth. Take it away from the heat and add the graham cracker crumbs and powdered sugar. You can also add vanilla extract which is listed as optional but I think it’s a good addition. I wouldn’t skip it. You’ll spread it into your pan next and what will really help is to be sure to line that pan with parchment paper first to make removing them easier.
Meanwhile, make your chocolate layer by melting the chocolate chips and peanut butter in the microwave. Do it in small increments to avoid burning. When it’s smooth, you can pour it onto the peanut butter. It helps to gently shake your pan around to spread it over the top evenly. Give it 5 minutes and then add peanut butter cups to the top. Alternatively, you could add another type of candy like Butterfingers, but I went with peanut butter cups and let me tell you…it ruled!
