A SLIGHTLY HEALTHIER NO BAKE FOR 2016?!?!
Resolutions = Restrictions. It is all but a sure thing. You can set your watch to it, really. Every new year I find myself reminiscing about the year that had passed and look to the year ahead with wonder and ambition to make the next year my best one yet. Inevitably, this optimistic push for a better year involves some sort of recommitment to my health. Some of my new year resolutions in the past?
Lose 15 pounds. Stop eating chocolate every day. Get rid of all candy in the house. Eat red meat only once a week. Eliminate added sugars from my diet. Every year, my resolutions fail miserably. And I think I’ve finally figured out why I can never manage to make any changes that have a lasting impression on my life: I focus more on what I can remove from my life and less on what small changes I can make to improve my life.
With that, my resolution this year was simple: Make simple and small changes that improve my life without removing things I enjoy from my life. As such, what to do about chocolate and peanut butter??? Let’s go to the next page (click the Next button below) if you want to check out what I came up with.
