My husband was so happy to see these when he got home. I gave him a big square before dinner. And a beer. It doesn’t really go with beer but he totally needed it. I’d go for milk with these myself. But my husband is weird like that. Anyway, with these, you want to care when making the brown sugar meringue. Be slow and gentle when you fold the sugar into your egg whites. You want it to stay stiff.
These are a bit sticky what with the marshmallows and all. Cutting things that is sticky can be tough because they stick to the knife and make a big gooey mess. The original poster gives a wonderful tip for how to slice these up nicely without the stickiness factor ruining things. She says to spray a paper towel with cooking spray and wipe it on your knife blade before and after each cut. That’s a pretty great trick right there! These are also great to take along somewhere.
