IT’S THE TOPS!
When baking, you can never have enough frosting. In fact, the more flavors and styles of frosting you have under your hat, the better you will be for it. Of course, that presents a difficult time when you’re trying to decide from your vast selection of go-to frostings which one you should choose. With school out for the summer, my house has become a never-ending zoo of children on play dates, toys on the floor, tears about going in the pool or being taken somewhere (and then more tears because they want to go here and not there) and the general chaos that having a house full of children brings. So I’ve been baking a lot. Like A LOT. Because having treats on hand to give the kids makes life easier for me, plus I get to perfect my technique without having gobs of leftovers for me to eat. Win-win!
I decided to test out this marshmallow frosting I found one day when I was making chocolate cupcakes. It was in the preliminary stages of my decision to turn them into s’more cupcakes (which I did by simply dusting the frosting with crushed graham crackers and a drizzling of melted milk chocolate on top though I have big plans to make a filling of chocolate and marshmallow sometime too). I just needed to play with the frosting to see if it was worthy. And the verdict? Oh yes, my dears. Worthy indeed!
