THE BROWNIE VERSION OF THE CANDY BAR!
I’ve covered plenty of recipes that incorporate candy bars within them. But this is like recreating a classic candy bar in the form of a brownie. If you love coconut and chocolate, you are going to be on cloud 9 after this. You’ll use a boxed brownie mix. Go ahead and completely prepare it as directed on the box for a 9 x 13 size pan. Then you’ll combine all the other ingredients listed except for the can of chocolate frosting. Mix it up well in your mixer, or get some arm exercises in by doing it by hand.
Then you’ll spread that coconut mixture on top of the brownies. After that, you’ll microwave the canned frosting for about 10 seconds until it’s runny and you can pour it. Please make sure you remove both the foil seal inside the can of frosting as well as the plastic lid before you put it in the microwave or you will be very, very sad. Pour the runny frosting over the top. Let it cool and then you can taste what dreams are made of! Yum!
The very awesome recipe that I found to make this review comes from the In Katrina’s Kitchen blog. Click the link below to go visit the blog to see some more amazing pictures and get the detailed recipe.
