ROLL WITH IT, BABY!
All it takes to make these amazing rolls is just 7 ingredients. That’s it! And then you’ll be rolling in perfection. Use your mixer to make things easier. If you have a dough hook, that is ideal. If not, no worries. You can still get the job done. The key is to knead the dough until it becomes soft and sticky. Then you’ll toss this dough into a well-greased bowl, making sure you turn the dough in the grease to coat it all. Cover it with a towel (a damp one works best), tell it a goodnight story and let it rest until it doubles in size. That’s about an hour, but hey, you can do lots of stuff while it does its thing.
When it’s ready, put the dough on a well-floured surface and roll it out. If you want to make it into rolls, simply follow the instructions in the original post for shaping. Once you section off the rolls, you’ll need to cover them with your towel again and let them rise some more, about 45 minutes. While it does take a while to make these, it’s inactive time. You can always prepare the dough well in advance of when you’ll be making it so it’s ready to go when you are too. Then you can have homemade rolls even on your busiest days!
