BRILLIANT FOR BRUNCH!
Whenever I eat scones, I feel fancier. I feel like I need to be eating them at a nice tea party while wearing a pretty dress and shoes that look nice but that pinch my feet. Perhaps with one of those wide-rimmed sun hats on. And all the while as I sip my tea and nibble on my scone, I keep looking around for the guy with the tray of mimosas. I just know he’s around here somewhere. But most of the time when I’m eating scones, it’s safe to say that I’m still in my pajamas. And that once I have some coffee and then go into the bathroom to try to make myself look presentable, I notice I’ve got crumbs or some other food item in my hair.
My favorite supermarket makes some unbelievable blueberry scones. I can’t resist them. Well, I couldn’t anyway. Until I found this recipe for lemon blueberry scones. Now I can make my own.
