WE DON’T HAVE TO TAKE OUR CLOTHES OFF TO HAVE A GOOD TIME!
Oh no. We can dance and party all night, and drink some cherry wine. Uh huh! I may or may not have been dancing around the kitchen singing that ancient song from the 1980s. I plead the 5th. But yes, these absolutely lived up to their name.
The cake mix makes it really easy. You’ll mix it with some other ingredients. Then you’ll put half of the batter into your greased baking dish. You’ll bake it for only 8 minutes. It’s then that you have 8 minutes to get the caramel mixture ready. Using the microwave makes things faster. And hey, you want to be enjoying these faster, don’t you? I thought so. You’ll take that caramel mixture and pour it onto the layer of brownies. Then add the chocolate chips. Let the caramel set by either putting it in the refrigerator or let it sit out. Ever the impatient one, I shoved mine in the fridge.
Once the caramel is set, take the rest of the batter and drop it in spoonfuls onto the top. Alternatively, you can sandwich the dough between 2 sheets of wax paper and roll it out so that it will cover the entire top, but this spoonful way is faster and easier. Back in the oven it goes to finish baking. If you want gooier brownies, cook for less time. Allow to cool before cutting or you’ll have yourself a goopy-gloppy mess. Also, ice cream goes great with these. Just sayin’!
