GOES GREAT WITH DINNER!
Whatever you were planning to make for dinner tonight will go splendidly with this bread. And if you’ve never made your own loaf of bread before, this one is a good one to start with because it takes only 6 ingredients to put it together. You’ll need to dissolve your yeast in WARM water. You’ll know it’s still good if it gets a little foamy. Then add the sugar, salt, oil and flour and beat this combination together until it becomes smooth.
The trick with bread dough is you have to really work with it. Move the dough onto a well-floured surface and keep kneading it until it’s smooth and stretchy. It will take some time so be patient. It’s then that you’ll pop it into a greased bowl. Be sure to grease the top of the dough before you cover it. Let it rise in a warm place and it will double in size. Then, if you’re angry at someone, take it out on the dough! Punch it down and then move to a lightly floured area. The dough is enough to make two loaves so separate the dough and shape it before putting it into the loaf pans.
