DONUTS MADE EASY!
Using a can of pre-made biscuit dough and some oil, the donut world is your oyster with these. You can fry up the whole can in less than 5 minutes too. First, you’ll want to pop open the can and separate the biscuits so they can come to an even temperature. It will fry them more evenly. Next, you’ll need to decide what kind of donut you want. If you want the typical hole in the middle style, you’ll need to poke a hole through the center of your biscuit dough first before frying it. If you want to fill them with cream or jelly, just leave the biscuit intact and fry up until golden brown.
Drain them on paper towels. For donuts that you want to fill, let them cool for about 10 minutes before you fill them. Use a pastry bag to fill them or even a plastic bag with the end cut off. Don’t forget to add something on top, even just a simple dusting of sugar, or go big with lots of frosting or glaze. Donuts with holes in the middle can be frosted, glazed or even just rolled in cinnamon and sugar. The possibilities are endless, and delicious of course too!
