GOODY GOODY GUMDROPS!
Are you like me and plan the holidays and your parties wayyyyyyyyy in advance? If not, you should give it a try. Think of how much stress you’ll save yourself if you make big batches of fudge for gifts. Not to mention money! You’ll save a lot and be able to give people you care about something that’s made with love. If only I’d found this recipe a few weeks ago, I would have made it to go on the dessert table at my eldest’s birthday party. It would have offset the insane sweetness of all the sugary treats they bashed out of the piñata.
Anyway, like all fudge recipes, line your pan with foil to make removing it easy. Then melt your candy coating with milk and salt. Once it melts, get it off the heat and add the vanilla and the gumdrops.
That’s it. You just spread it in your pan, refrigerate until it’s firm and then cut it up into squares. Could it be any easier? It’s almost as easy as saying, “Goody goody gumdrops!” Yeah!
I found this yummy recipe from the Taste of Home website. Click the link below to see the site and the full recipe for this Gumdrop Fudge.
