A QUICK AND SIMPLE PLEASURE!
Warm muffins for breakfast with only 8 ingredients? Sign me up! These were wonderful and made me think of my own grandma. So many old-fashioned recipes are coming back in style because they’re not full of junk and the simplicity of them tastes so much better. These are so easy too. Wet ingredients in one bowl and dry ingredients in another bowl. And then you combine the bowls to make the batter. You could even have the kids do this!
One thing I must tell you though is that you should be sure you use real raw organic honey and not that processed junk you typically find in the supermarket. Look for the real deal. Your supermarket may have a few unprocessed raw organic honey options but if not, head to your local farmer’s market and score yourself some grade A real honey. It has so many healthful benefits, and it tastes better than the processed garbage. Anyway, enjoy these warm with a pat of butter for a truly country-kitchen breakfast feel!
