I JUST DIED AND WENT TO HEAVEN!
When I was in high school, my brother had just graduated from college. And with his new degree, he moved abroad to Russia. We took a trip to visit him in the dead of winter. On our way, we connected through Germany. While we had precious little time there before our flight, we certainly took full advantage of the sweets we encountered whilst there. My dad and I picked a bunch of different sweets from candies to cakes to bring with us. We thought my brother would really appreciate them too.
As we waited to board our connecting flight to Moscow, we decided to sample these sweet treats. I cannot even begin to tell you that these were some of the most extravagantly delicious things I ever sampled in my life. Nothing has really compared. Until now. This fudge, and boy howdy do you know how I love fudge, is just amazing. It instantly reminded me of one of the sweet candies we’d bought in Germany. I found it because I’ve been on a German chocolate cake rampage lately and when I saw this, it was a go-drop-everything-and-make-this-now kind of thing. Let’s go to the next page (click the Next button below) to discover how to make this German Chocolate Fudge.
