3 STEPS TO PIE PERFECTION!
With this pie, you’ll just have to bake up the crust. That’s easy with pre-made pastry. You’ll just have to roll it, trim it, flute it and bake it until it turns golden. And while that happens, you’ll beat the cream cheese, egg substitute, honey and vanilla in a large bowl. Make sure it’s smooth before you pour it into the crust. Back into the oven it goes until the center is just about set.
After it cools completely, you’ll decorate with strawberries. Then, you’ll make the sauce with cornstarch, water and preserves. While hot, glaze the strawberries with it, or brush it on if you prefer. Then give it a good chill in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. If you want, you can use whipped topping to garnish, which I recommend because you can’t go wrong with whipped cream. To keep it low cal and low fat, use the reduced fat whipped topping.
