HOMEMADE MADE EASY!
Confession: when I first started really trying to bake, I would do things like this to cake mix to slowly move out of my comfort zone. This is not only great for impromptu gatherings but also for when you want to learn how to bake beyond the box. Baby steps can help you get there, just like they did for me. Very easy here – you’re going to take the ingredients for your cake and use your mixer to blend them together. You can also do this by hand but it will take longer. The plus side is your arms will be looking good!
Bake and allow that to cool. Meanwhile, get that mixer ready to prepare your frosting. It’s so easy to make buttercream. Maybe too easy. I may or may not make the stuff to just snack on. Don’t judge me! Once that frosting is smooth, spread it on your cooled cake. It’s so easy! Enjoy!
