A SWEET TREAT!
What’s great about this fudge, aside from the fact that it takes only a few minutes to make and then goes into the fridge to set for about an hour or two, is that you can totally customize it. It calls for nuts optionally. It doesn’t even specify which nuts. You could use pecans or walnuts or any nuts. Go nuts with the nuts.
Or don’t. If you have a nut allergy you can still make this just fine without nuts. Or what if you like nuts but don’t want them in your fudge? You can also add other things if you wish, like bits of crushed cookies or sprinkles or toffee chunks. For the holidays, you can add crushed candy canes. The possibilities are endless and are only limited by your imagination.
When melting the chocolate mixture, microwave in one-minute increments, stirring for 30 seconds between until the mixture becomes smooth. It’s better to have to keep popping it back into the microwave than to overheat it and have burntish chocolate. Blech.
