IT DOESN’T GET EASIER THAN 4 INGREDIENTS!
That’s right. 4 ingredients. Eggs, sugar, heavy whipping cream and semi-sweet chocolate. That’s it. For starters, you’ll use your mixer to beat the eggs and sugar. While that happens, heat part of your heavy whipping cream on the stove. It just needs to get hot. Don’t let it boil! Set the mixer to low and add this hot cream very slowly into the mixing bowl. And then, add it back to the saucepan on low heat. Keep stirring without stopping until it gets thick. Again, be careful to not let it boil!
Once it thickens, take it from the heat and add the chocolate. Once it melts, you’ll chill it for a couple hours. When it’s completely firm, whip up the rest of the heavy cream with your whisk attachment on your mixer until you get those beautiful stiff peaks. Then add the cooled chocolate mixture to the whipped cream mixture. Voila! See? No moose were harmed in the making of this dessert.
